Why the Web Still Matters for Writing
Ben Thompson's article puts the world's web use into perspective and does a thorough job of explaining that even though our web use doesn't always necessarily start with the Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, or Apple Safari program, there is still web use in many other aspects of life. With the rise of other areas that rely heavily on internet connection, such as mobile apps and online gaming, both of which are pretty much dead without some sort of internet connectivity, it would be a stretch to say that the Internet is dead; it is still very much alive. It has just adapted in a way that accommodates today's Instagram, Hay Day, and XBOX Live junkies.
